Another (Cohort) class being offered this Fall is Prayer school with Brian Zahnd This class will fulfill 3 credits of electives within any of our programs. This is being offered as a TKC course (in-person). It will have a few follow up zoom calls with Brian Zahnd. It is a great opportunity to not only knock out a class in as little as a few weeks but also experience life changing spiritual dynamics of prayer that are sure to bear incredible fruit in your life and ministry.
Zahnd Bio:
Brian Zahnd is the founder and lead pastor of Word of Life Church in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is also a pastor-theologian who has authored eleven books, including Sinners In the Hands of a Loving God, When Everything’s on Fire, and The Wood Between the Worlds. Brian is enthusiastic about music, literature, mountains, and long-distance pilgrimages.

This Prayer School offers a transformative spiritual formation experience. Participants will gain practical tools and theological insight to deepen their prayer lives. The event emphasizes training in contemplative prayer practices, offering guidance rooted in biblical theology and Christian tradition. Zahnd’s Prayer School is designed to foster discipleship through: Engaging with ancient Christian practices such as praying the Psalms and silence. Developing a prayer life that is both theologically rich and spiritually formative, Encouraging lifelong discipleship through deepened communion with God.
Also Brian Zahnd is preaching at the same church, the Point in Seymour on 11/23 and you are welcome to stay over for that as well.
There is a $50 fee for TKC Credit students. You can make a payment on the TKC site here.
The local Holiday Inn gave us $30/night off their regular rate. But you need to make your reservation before 10/31 for that pricing.
